Modern Boylover Magazine

This page is to keep Forum Reps informed on what is going on with Modern Boylover Magazine. It will be kept updated with any current contests, information regarding submissions, deadlines and magazine release dates. If you have questions or comments, you can reply here without the need for registration. :)

None of this is written in stone, I am open to your ideas and suggestions.

Please note that you may need to improvise to meet your particular board's rules and policies. For example, some forums may not allow links leading to outside websites. If this is the case, you will need to copy & paste any rules or guidelines rather than linking to them.

Try to use any tools your forums has to offer. If you are allowed links in your signature, add a link to your MBM posts. If there are Groups or blogs, think of ways you can use them. Having topics made sticky or placed as announcements can also help get the attention of members. ;)

Issue 10 Timeline
DECEMBER

• 15th (or soon after): Posting of 'Write For Us' topics on the forums. The main blog will also feature this.
• You can find a template and other tips by clicking here.

JANUARY

• 1st: New MBM Logo Competition! Rules & entries threads to take place on each board with a Forum Rep. More information to come soon.
• 1st: Cover nominations begin. This year our board of choice is BoyMoment.com! Kp_dan will run this for us.

FEBRUARY

• 1st (or later?): (BM only) Posting the 1st round of voting for MBM cover.
• 5th: Final call for content, announce if possible.
• 7th(or later?): (BM only) Posting the 2nd round of voting for MBM cover.
• 15th:[/color] Deadline for written work.
• 25th: Deadline for editing.

MARCH

• 5th: Deadline for PDF.
• 12th: Deadline for Copy Editor.
• 15th: Release date.

Then....you're done! Hopefully you will be interested in helping again with our next issue, but if not....please help me find a replacement Rep for your forum! :)
